Acephate 50% + Imidacloprid 1.8% SP is a nerve and muscle pesticide recommended for a range of pests in cotton and rice.

In rice, it is used to control brown planthopper, green leafhopper, stem borer & leaf folder
The dose is 2 grams per liter in both crops. Application is foliar and in cotton, it can be sprayed 40 days before starting peaking.
It is being sold by UPL as Lancergold and Panther Gold by National Pesticides.
Although this is the most popular product, farmers should search this blog for finding alternative pesticides so as to avoid residue in the final product. Do not use in crops other than cotton and rice.
