This is a popular nerve and muscle pesticide. It is being sold as following brands.

It is recommended for control of Jassids and Bollworms in cotton, Aphids in Safflower and Stem borer, leaf folder and hoppers in rice. Being a high content formulation, its doses are 0.5-1.25 gram per liter. However, we suggest farmers to use more proficient and safe formulations available in market.  Buprofezin 23.1% + Fipronil 3.85% SC is an excellent pesticide formula that has a combination of two active ingredients. One acts on muscle and nerve to control adults whereas the second active ingredient prevents the growth of larvae so that new adults are not formed. It is being traded by Adama as Zohar . This formulation is recommended for the control of brown planthopper in rice. The dose is 1.5 ml/lit and the waiting period is 30 days.
