This active ingredient is separated from the water-soluble extract of neem seed kernel. Perfectly botanical, one of the most active, proven biopesticides. Farmers are requested to note that this formulation will never show immediate results, (in case your formula is showing immediate knockdown it means that it is duplicate and may contain some molecule that will show residue. Beware of this.
This active ingredient deters pests from taking food. As they lose the desire to eat/suck, they stop growing, stop reproducing, and die hungry.
If your crop is showing a massive attack of pests, use a common Nerve and Muscle pesticide first. This will reduce the pest population to great extent. Then use Azadirachtin formulation as a follow-up spray. You can use this formulation as preventive too. If you observe new and fresh pests on sticky traps, spray azadirachtin spray. This will help to suppress the pest population below a harmful level.
Use it every 10-15 days depending upon the requirement. After spraying, if the rain comes, then again apply the formulation. Good mixing is required before application. Avoid storage of spray mixtures. Mix a fresh for every application. Sprays during evening hours are preferable.
The only important and often neglected issue with this formulation is its instability. This formulation will become less efficient with time. Try to get a freshly manufactured formulation, keep away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not store tank-mix i.e. formulation mixed with water.
The spray is officially recommended in the following crops however its experimental use may be done in other crops.
