Buprofezin 70 DF

This is a dry flowable (DF) formulation with an ingredient that stops the growth of larvae into an adult. Buprofezin 70% DF formulation is being marketed by Anu Products as Stalin. It is officially recommended for control of Jassids in Okra i.e. bhindi. The dose is 0.5-0.6 gram/lit and the waiting period is merely 5 days before peaking. 

Farmers should experiment with this formulation instead of repeatedly using nerve and muscle pesticides.

Buprofezin 23.1 + Fipronil 3.85 SC

 Buprofezin 23.1% + Fipronil 3.85% SC is an excellent pesticide formula that has a combination of two active ingredients. One acts on muscle and nerve to control adults whereas the second active ingredient prevents the growth of larvae so that new adults are not formed. It is being traded by Adama as Zohar . This formulation is recommended for the control of brown planthopper in rice. The dose is 1.5 ml/lit and the waiting period is 30 days. Farmers can experiment with this pesticide for control of similar pests in similar crops with help of experts.
